Sanctions Urged for N.J. Lawyers Who Didn’t Scrutinize Real Estate Deals (Law.com via Yahoo! Finance)
A New Jersey ethics panel has voted to discipline two lawyers who appeared to ignore warning signs that something was fishy about real estate deals they handled. The Disciplinary Review Board recommended a six-month suspension for Bincy Abraham for conflict of interest and failing to safeguard funds, and a reprimand for Lynn Gale for misrepresentation and neglect.
